15 Websites Every Designer Must Bookmark This 2015

As a designer who’s always working on projects for our web design services, we thrive on staying informed on what are the latest and coolest sites to learn trends and take inspiration from. Last year, I shared with you my 2014 picks for the must-bookmark websites for designers. And so far, my most used websites from the list that I find really helpful are 0 to 255 and Adobe Kuler.

Here I am again giving you my top list which I think every designer or non-designers must bookmark this 2015:

  1. Tindle – A tool where you can enjoy browsing great works on Dribbble in a Tinder-esque way. Great tool to use when you’re bored and looking for interesting artworks. Kudos to Finely for creating such a wonderful site.

  2. What Color Is It – Want to know what every minute of the day looks like in color? This site calculates the HEX color of the current time.

  3. Nibbler – A free tool in testing websites. All you need to do is enter your desired URL and Nibbler will give you reports on overall score for the site, accessibility to mobile and disabled users, how satisfying the website is for users, how well the website is popular especially to social networking sites and many more.

  4. Material Colors – This website is catered for designers and developers which allows to quickly copy color codes. You can either choose from HEX, #HEX, RGB and RGBA.

  1. Google Design – This site includes design guidelines for web and mobile apps, training opportunities and resources. By the way, you can also download FREE assets here.

  1. Design Meltdown – A curated gallery of interactive designs.

  2. Pixel Buddha – A site where you can download latest mock-up designs, UI kits, fonts, logo designs in PSD and many more. Available for personal and commercial use.

  3. Freebies Bug – A project curated by Pasquelle Vitiello. This is a love at first sight website. I just love the color scheme and the layout of this site. And it’s really easy to use! I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy it because it includes FREE PSDs and AIs that you’ll surely love. Not just that, it also includes FREE code stuff, fonts and WordPress themes.

  4. Invision App – Invision is a web app that allows designers to build high-quality web and mobile mock-ups by just uploading screenshots. With your uploaded screenshots, people can interact with it already without adding codes. And it’s easier to get feedback from here because comments can be placed anywhere.

  1. Infogram – A FREE site where you can create infographics and online charts

  2. Material UI – Material UI is a CSS framework that implements Google’s material design. These helps with developing user-friendly and responsive applications.

    Here are its features:
    – The CSS Framework is built with Less
    – Resets, colors, and typography to help get you going
    – They’ve started building out some material design components using react

  1. Type Genius – A project by Muno Creative. It is an online app that helps you find a perfect combo of typefaces.

  2. Creative TIM– A FREE bootstrap landing page made by Tim. It comes with 5 themes to choose from.

  3. UX Check – A FREE Chrome extension that helps you identify usability issues. Read more about the product here.

  4. Nielsen Norman Group – Nielsen Norman Group is a trusted authority in User Experience. Check this blog regulary to get the latest news about UX.
