It’s been an insightful week in the online marketing industry, and an exciting week here at the Spiralytics HQ. We’re continuously adding new members to our team, moving to a bigger office space, and working with some new clients. Not to mention, I got away with blogging about Taylor Swift this week! Ha. And now another week is about to end!

Here are some great reads before we disappear for the weekend. Hope you have a great one! Enjoy!

1. The one page in your website you need to get right!

If there’s one person who knows a lot about getting it right, it’s Jeff Bullas, so head over to his blog and find out what this one page is!

2. Google improves search results with ‘Quality Update’

No need to worry, if your site pays attention to user experience and publishes quality content. But if you haven’t touched your site’s design for years, do not publish fresh and quality content, and is not mobile responsive, then you have to check your site traffic because quite possibly, your ranking is hit by this algorithm update.

3. WordPress.com or WordPress.org, what’s the difference?

Many first-time bloggers ask me what the difference is. This article has everything to know about the free version and the open-source one.

4. This food blogger couple earned $24,946.00 from their blog last month.

I love Pinch of Yum’s recipes, but most of all I love how generous they are in providing insights to their readers about how they make money off their blog. Every month they give a detailed report of their earnings and shares tips on how to monetize blogs too.

5. McDo to-go for bikers, or “McBike”.

How do you like to take away your burgers, fries and drinks like this?

6. Seth Godin is keeping it real. As always.

He talks about expectations, false dreams, and some reality check.

7. Are you on twitter? Here are the best times to tweet!

These guys analyzed 4.8 million tweets across 10,000 profiles to get some insights.
